Join us for our Grand Re-Opening May 15th from 6-9 pm After nine years in Clayton neighborhood of St. Louis, the Duane Reed Gallery is moving to 4729 McPherson in the Central West End next to Centro. This move, which coincides with the gallery's fifteenth anniversary, will allow the gallery significantly more space (4,400+ sq. feet) in a vibrant neighborhood with restaurants, galleries and other businesses. "We consider it a great opportunity to expand our ability to showcase the artists we represent, as well as provide an exhibition space that will accommodate larger scale work." Renovation began a few weeks ago, and is projected to open May 15, 2009. The gallery will present the work of glass artist, Michael Janis and internationally acclaimed fiber sculptor, John McQueen as the inaugural exhibitions in the new space. The exhibitions will open Friday, May 15th with an opening that evening from 6 - 9pm. The exhibitions will run through June 13th. | |

My assistants and I helped host and greet the guests again this year for the Art St.Louis wine tasting and art auction downtown at the grand Windows off Washington. It was great to see all the artwork getting bids even my Buddhalishious started a bidding war during the live auction. Julie Malone was an added bonus to our day.
